Over the years engineered flooring has become bigger and better. With it's construction consisting of several layers of plywood and 6mm solid wood on the top layer on 21mm and 4mm on 15mm.
It is now one of the preferred flooring methods to use in most modern homes and work places. It is the construction which makes the engineered floor much more stable than a hardwood solid floor . The 21mm range can also be fitted over joists the same as a solid 21mm but can also be fix to a subfloor or underfloor heating.
The brushed & Oiled Range has one coat of oil so would there for need a further coat of oil.
The Lacquered Range has several layers of lacquer making a very hard surface in a satin finish. The unfinished range has been filled and sanded for you to finish with your desired finished.
We recommend Osmo for the oils and Bona for the lacquers.
For fixing you could use the following methods: Floating using Bona D700 wood glue & Underlay Multi or Alu-Floor
Using Bona R850 Adhesive with trowel onto concrete screed and Chipboard floor
Fixing to Joist or plywood sub floor using a secret nail gun
